Our story begins over 20 years ago when Jim Dezell, a third-generation South Floridian, set out to build hydroponic greenhouses on 8 acres of land in Davie. Initially focused on growing herbs and lettuces for local chefs and grocery stores, Jim soon expanded the business to include plants and trees for landscaping. In October 2005, Flamingo Road Nursery and Farmers Market opened its doors, offering a 10-acre garden center that has become a beloved destination for both novice and experienced gardeners alike.
