M.E. Astbury & Son is a third-generation, family-owned business with a rich history serving the Blue Hill, Maine area for over 56 years. Founded in 1968 by Maynard Eugene Astbury (M.E.) and Mary, the company started small with a few pieces of equipment and a vision for providing reliable and honest construction services. In 1981, M.E.'s son Michael, along with his wife Pat, joined the family business, expanding its reach and capabilities.

Today, the company is proudly managed by Michael and Pat, with their two sons, Mike and Josh, continuing the Astbury legacy. This deep familial involvement ensures that the same values of integrity, hard work, and attention to detail that M.E. instilled in the company remain at the heart of everything we do.
