Custom Grown Greenhouse is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Milwaukee community for over three decades. Our story began in 1984 when our founder, Paul, started his own business selling plants from a makeshift stand in a grocery store parking lot. From those humble beginnings, our business has grown and evolved to become one of the premier garden centers in the region.
Our History
Paul began his career in the greenhouse industry as a teenager, working at a local garden center in Milwaukee. After studying HVAC and gaining valuable hands-on experience, he started his own business, selling plants from a makeshift stand in a grocery store parking lot. Over the years, the business grew, and in 1988, Paul, his wife Sue, and her sister Jeannie joined forces to expand the business into what is now Custom Grown Greenhouse.
