We believe in providing the most appropriate amount of fertilizer for your lawn, along with superior weed control, in every single treatment.

Meet Our Team

Our team is led by Marcus Hoone, a certified agronomist with over 25 years of experience in the industry. Marcus is the sole field technician and has been working in lawn care since he was a young man. He learned the business from his father, Joe Hoone, who founded Grass Roots in 1983. Marcus's passion for lawn care and customer service has been passed down through generations. Our office manager, Abby Hoone, brings her extensive experience in healthcare to the table. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she has spent the last 12 years working in adult and pediatric ICUs, ERs, and emergency medical helicopter transport. Now, she is excited to bring her skills and passion to our customer service team.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to keep your lawn looking its best. From fertilization and weed control to grub prevention, aeration and overseeding, and insect control, we have a comprehensive program to meet your specific needs. Our signature 5-step fertilizer and weed control program includes five treatments made from March to early December. We also offer a FREE lawn evaluation and estimate to help you achieve the lawn of your dreams.
