History
North Dayton Garden Center's history dates back to 1963 when our founder, Pete Kossoudji, and his wife, Shirley, opened the doors to their first location on Troy Street. With a passion for gardening, particularly vegetables, they started the business with a 96x40ft glass greenhouse and eventually expanded to our present location at 1309 Brandt Pike, which spans over 10 acres. Today, the business is managed by Pete and Shirley, along with their son, Rick, and his wife, Lisa and three daughters, making it a truly family-operated enterprise.
