For over 40 years, Tomich Landscape Design & Construction, Inc. has been dedicated to creating stunning landscapes, hardscapes, and outdoor living projects in the Berkshires and nearby New York and Connecticut. We are a family-owned and operated business with a passion for designing and building beautiful, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces. Our History

The Tomich family's journey in the landscape design and construction industry began in the mid-1950s when Matthew Tomich and his wife Garnella moved to the Berkshires. They purchased Ward's Nursery, where Matthew, a landscape architect, handled landscape construction alongside his friend Donald Ward, a horticulturist. After many successful years, Matthew decided to establish a family company, Matthew Tomich Landscaping, in 1975. The company thrived in the Berkshires until 1981, when the family made the decision to move to Florida to pursue year-round work. In 1982, Mark, Matthew's second son, returned to the Berkshires and joined Ward's Nursery, operating their landscape construction division. The family eventually returned to the Berkshires in 1988, and Mark and his wife Susie established what is now known as Tomich Landscape Design & Construction.
