At Hoerr Nursery, we have been serving the Peoria community and its surrounding areas with our gardening and landscaping solutions for over 90 years. Our business was founded in 1926 by a German immigrant named David August Hoerr, who started delivering coal and topsoil to help residents heat their homes during the winter months. To supplement his income during the warmer months, he began delivering topsoil, doing landscaping work, and eventually growing plants and trees to sell. Today, Hoerr Nursery has grown into a multi-million dollar family business, spanning over 400 acres of land in the Peoria area, dedicated to the production of trees, plants, and sod.
