Our company was founded by Albert Mitschele, who started a mulch business called "Cactus Compost" in 1955. His son, Mark Mitschele, followed in his father's footsteps and began his own landscape maintenance business in 1978, using his father's special blend of mulch/compost. Mark built a reputable business, earning many awards for his landscape maintenance excellence. After Mark's passing, his son Aaron took over the business, continuing the legacy of creating and maintaining unique outdoor spaces.
