About Sarah Herman

Sarah Herman, the founder of Sarah Herman Landscape Design, has a background in social work and politics. With a degree in Social Work from New York University and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of California, Berkeley, Sarah brings a unique perspective to landscape design. Her passion for creating functional, beautiful, and sustainable gardens comes from her desire to enrich people's lives by enhancing their appreciation and stewardship of California's natural environment.

Sarah has been featured in publications such as the San Francisco Chronicle and has written articles on landscape design and gardening. She's a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers and is a Bay-Friendly Qualified Landscape Designer.
