At Balet Flowers & Design, we are a family-owned business that has been serving the Saratoga region for over 40 years. Our journey began in 1978, when Peter and Marie Balet started selling fresh produce and cut flowers at the local farmers' market. Their children, John and Suzanne, soon joined the business, and together they expanded the farm to include a wider variety of products.
The Balet Family and Our Legacy
Suzanne, who holds a horticulture degree from SUNY Cobleskill/Cornell, brought a new level of expertise to the farm. Under her guidance, the farm transformed into a thriving greenhouse and flower farm, producing over 150 annual varieties, 200 types of perennials, and 80+ varieties of vegetable and herb plants each year. These products are sold directly to customers at the Saratoga Springs Farmers' Market and through our greenhouse in Malta.
Wedding Services

Our experienced florist, Suzanne, takes the time to listen to each wedding party's vision and budget, crafting unique and personalized floral designs that exceed expectations. Our summer blooms add a touch of elegance to any wedding, whether formal or intimate. Whether you're planning a ceremony at the Canfield Casino or a Sagamore, our arrangements are designed to make your day unforgettable.
Greenhouse and Flower Farm
Our five-acre flower farm and greenhouse is bustling with activity from February to December, producing a wide range of plants and flowers. We take great pride in growing our products using sustainable methods, ensuring the highest quality and freshness for our customers. Our farm shop is open year-round, offering a variety of plants, flowers, and pottery for you to enjoy.
