Our journey began over three decades ago when our founder, Greg Rubin, transitioned out of his successful career as an aerospace engineer to devote himself to his passion for California native plants. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, he founded California's Own Native Landscape Design, Inc. in 1993. Today, our team of experienced and dedicated professionals has designed and installed over 700 native landscapes throughout Southern California.
