Our Demonstration Gardens, a cornerstone of the Weston Gardens experience, trace their roots back to the 1930s and 1940s, meticulously cultivated by Leon and Peggy Bandy as a private estate. This sprawling oasis, designed long before the advent of air conditioning, was a testament to the art of outdoor living, crafted with an intentional eye towards entertainment and enjoyment of the Texas outdoors. Legend has it that the gardens were a veritable gathering place for Fort Worth's social elite, where dances were held on the iconic rock ship and sun-drenched hours were spent by the idyllic creek.
