Our Story
Our journey began in the autumn of 1998, when we moved to Montclair from New York City. With a passion for gardening, I had the opportunity to transform our one-acre property from a blank slate into a beautiful and serene space. As I shaped and molded the landscape, I realized that I had an innate talent for designing and gardening. I decided to take my newfound passion and back it up with a solid education, enrolling in the New York Botanic Garden's School of Horticulture and completing a certificate in Landscape Design.
Our Services
At Twig & Vine Design, we offer a range of services to cater to your unique needs and preferences. From small garden renovations to complete property design and installation, we work closely with our clients to bring their vision to life.
Consultation & Planning
Our consultation process begins with an initial meeting at your property, where we walk the area together and discuss your likes, dislikes, and needs for the space. Based on this initial meeting, we draw up a concept plan, which we review and refine during our second meeting. We ensure that all changes are made and discussed before moving forward with the design.
Implementation
Once all decisions have been made and changes have been incorporated, we create a final design plan and plant list, including the quantities and placement of trees, shrubs, and perennials. We can also purchase, site, and install all plant material, ensuring that your outdoor space is transformed into a stunning and functional area.
