Our Story

Moyer's Nursery & Landscaping has been a cornerstone of the Massillon community since 1978. Our journey began with a passion for horticulture and a dream to create beautiful landscapes. From humble beginnings with five acres, we've grown to 25 acres, maintaining a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Today, we're proud to offer a wide range of services, from premium landscape design and installation to a vast garden center filled with everything you need to bring your outdoor space to life.

About the Company

Bruce Moyer, our founder, was a true visionary. His love for horticulture began at Ohio State University, where he studied and later taught before starting his own business. Bruce's legacy lives on through our commitment to quality and customer service. Today, the entire family is involved in the business, ensuring that the same high standards are maintained. Our garden center is managed by Bruce's youngest daughter, Lara, who brings a fresh perspective and dedication to excellence.

Growing for You

Our story is one of growth and dedication. We're proud to grow over 15 acres of trees and landscape plants on location for both retail sales and landscape contracts. Our four original greenhouses and two sales houses provide ample space for our inventory, ensuring that we can meet the demands of our customers and the landscape industry. In the summer, we focus on growing a wide variety of plants, including the famous Moyer's mums, which are sold to wholesale customers and in our garden center.

Seasonal Highlights

The seasons bring new opportunities and excitement to our business. In the spring, we welcome customers to our newly expanded greenhouse growing space. Summer brings the retail rush, and we're busy preparing for the holiday season. Our Christmas events are a highlight, featuring grave pillows, decorations, and of course, live and cut trees, poinsettias, and other festive greenery. We're here to help you make your outdoor space shine all year round.
