With many years of experience in aquatics, our team members are well-versed in koi identification, goldfish health and care, correct feeding procedures, and disease control and prevention. They also have extensive experience in the selection, identification, habitat, and care of aquatic plants for water gardens.
Stock Selection
At Kansas City Pond, we carry the largest selection of fish for all ponds and water features in the area. We regularly import high-quality Japanese koi of all grades and sizes, including Kohaku, Showa, Ogon, Sanke, and many others. We also carry a wide variety of goldfish, including Shubunkins, Sarassa Comets, Fantails, and many others. Additionally, we offer special-order koi for hobbyists looking for high-quality Japanese imports.
Our selection of aquatic plants is unmatched, with a huge variety of Lilies, Lotus, floating plants, oxygenators, and many varieties of marginal potted plants. We also carry everything you need to keep your plants healthy and thriving, including fertilizers, soil, pots, and basins in many sizes.
Products and Services
Kansas City Pond carries a complete line of pond supplies and equipment from top manufacturers such as Pondmax, Easy Pro, Hikari, Sera, Atlantic, Pond Master, and many more. We stock a large inventory of 40-45 mil liner for any size pond project and are the only supplier of Poly Flo filter material in several grades of filtering capacity.
We also carry a full line of products for maintaining water quality, as well as for disease prevention and control. Our own brand of sludge and sediment pillows and tablets is available, along with products from Aquascience, MicrobeLift, Pond Perfect, Koi Kare Kennel, and many others.
In addition to our extensive product offerings, we provide consultation services for pond and water feature assessments and design. Consultations are scheduled based on availability and are billed at an hourly rate, with payment due at the time of the visit. Any maintenance or repair work needed will be scheduled for a later date at our normal rates for pond service.
