At Lenkin Design, we are dedicated to creating beautiful and unique outdoor spaces that reflect our clients' personalities and fit seamlessly into their surroundings. With over 20 years of experience in designing landscapes in Southern California, our team has honed a unique approach to landscape design that combines beauty, history, and functionality.

Our Story

Heather Lenkin, our founder and lead designer, has always been passionate about preserving cultural heritage and promoting education. Her lifelong pursuit of preserving our international cultural and historic preservation has led her to work with esteemed organizations such as the World Monuments Fund and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. She is also actively involved in contributing scholarships to students to study abroad and serves as the Chair of the Honors College Advisory Board and a Trustee at the University of Arizona Foundation.

Our Services

At Lenkin Design, we offer a full range of landscape design services from concept to installation. We work closely with a select group of highly skilled, licensed landscape contractors to bring our designs to life. Our services include:

• Hardscape: Driveways, paths, patios, decks, stairs, walls, gates, barbecue areas, and outdoor furnishings
• Softscapes: Plant specifications, plant selection, placement, and installation of drought-tolerant, LEED-native, and xeriscaped landscapes
• Pools & Spas: Standard, custom, lap pools, movable floor pools, water slides, and outdoor showers
• Fire Features: Outdoor firepits, fireplaces, chimineas, and other fire features
• Water Features: Fountains, waterfalls, rills, ponds, and other water features
• Lighting: Outdoor lighting speciation and installation
• Audio & Security: Outdoor televisions, custom audio, and security systems

Our Process

From consultation to design and installation, our process is designed to ensure that our clients' needs are met every step of the way. Our five-stage process includes:

1. Consultation: We meet with you to discuss your goals and dreams for your outdoor space.

2. Site Analysis: We analyze your existing landscape, taking measurements, photos, and examining existing blueprints.

3. Schematic Design: We develop a conceptual plan for the overall layout and present it for your feedback.

4. Final Design & Approval: We create the final design, specifying plants, materials, and finishes, and obtain your approval.

5. Construction: We work with our select group of contractors to bring your design to life.
