The Alton Road Nurseries has been a staple in the South Beach community since 1990. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our clients' desires and create personalized designs for their potted plants and landscaping. Our beautiful 1920's Mediterranean-style building in the heart of South Beach is home to our garden center, store, and services.

Our Services

We offer a full range of services, including landscape design, installation, and maintenance. We also provide interior and exterior decorating services, tailoring our designs to suit each client's lifestyle and needs. Our Garden Boutique is stocked with a variety of interior and exterior foliage, statuary, fountains, plaques, and pottery. For your consultation, we will meet in person to discuss your project, including your goals, timelines, and design preferences. We charge a fee for this initial meeting to ensure we have sufficient time to understand your needs.

Design and Planning

Our design time is billed hourly, and we require a retainer fee for 10 hours once you decide to move forward with our services. This fee covers additional design time beyond the initial consultation. Factors influencing the amount of time required include the size of the project, compatibility with all parties involved, the level of detail desired, and the extent of diagrams or plans needed. We strive to create designs that meet your unique needs and goals.

Store and Garden Center

Our store and garden center offer a wide variety of plants, pottery, statuary, and fountains. We have a selection of Keystone, Terra Cotta, "White" or "Bone" pottery, as well as French Pots, Italian pottery, and urns. Our statuary includes Terra Cotta, White, Keystone, and Bone pieces of all sizes. We also carry a range of fountains, plaques, benches, baskets, home accessories, pesticides, fertilizers, moss, sod, and a variety of plants such as topiaries, shrubs, ivy, hanging baskets, herbs, orchids, bromeliads, and succulents. Our inventory is not limited to our store; we also have an offsite warehouse to accommodate all your needs.
