Breezy Hill Nursery, Inc. began as a small design/build firm in 1980 by Jerry and Colleen Epping. Over the years, the company's commitment to hard work, honesty, and customer satisfaction has helped the business grow into the multifaceted landscape firm which it is today. From its humble beginnings with only a few employees and basic equipment, the company has expanded to employ over 250 seasonal and full-time employees across its three locations in Salem, Wisconsin, Clinton, Wisconsin, and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

The company's growth has been marked by strategic expansions into new markets and the development of new services. In 1981, Jerry and Colleen purchased 40 acres of prime farmland in Salem, which was strategically planted with nursery stock to aid the landscape business. This nursery has been a critical component to business growth, allowing the company to maximize customer value by designing and installing homegrown plant material at reduced costs. The Garden Center, which was established in 1987, serves as a retail space for nursery products and office space for administration and design staff.

The company's Landscape Design and Construction Division is renowned for creating breathtaking landscapes, serving a sixty-mile radius stretching from Northern Illinois and Chicago up to the Milwaukee lakefront and across Wisconsin to the Madison area. Whether it's a Japanese garden, an outdoor kitchen with a stone fireplace and pond, or a sustainable organic garden in an eco-friendly environment, Breezy Hill Landscaping demonstrates an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service and superior landscape design. The division comprises a residential design group and a commercial design center, employing 20 full landscape crews and 8 landscape designers and architects.
