Our Story

Archiflora was founded by Janice Nyman, a licensed architect with a passion for sustainable design and a deep respect for tradition and history. Janice's journey as an architect began in Alaska, where she grew up surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the state. Her experiences in Switzerland, California, and Washington state have also shaped her unique perspective on architecture, which combines modernity with green building practices.

Education and Certifications

Janice Nyman's educational background includes a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. She holds licenses in Washington state and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Janice is also LEED accredited, an ISA (International Society of Arborists) certified Arborist, and holds certification in Urban Forestry and Sustainable Landscape Management.
