At Bountiful Backyards, we are dedicated to creating ecological landscapes that not only enhance the beauty of your outdoor space but also support the livelihood of our community. For over 15 years, we have been designing and installing ecological landscapes throughout the Central Piedmont of North Carolina. Our mission is to empower individuals to create sustainable, resilient, and thriving ecosystems that benefit both humans and the environment.

Who We Are

Our founders, Keith and Kate, have a combined decades of experience in creating abundant, balanced, and unique eco-landscapes. Keith, a co-founder and principle designer, has a background in English and has worked as a sous chef, journalist, and pedicab driver, among other ventures. Kate, our main designer and plant propagator, has a passion for native plants, medicinal plants, and annual cut flowers. Her experience in sustainable agriculture and public health has given her a unique understanding of the intricacies of ecological landscaping.

Our Services

Our holistic integration of edible landscaping, stormwater management, pollinator/meadow gardens, and contemporary soil science enables us to deliver lower-maintenance landscaping that provides great value in the long term. We work closely with each client to understand their goals, vision, and practical concerns to create customized plans tailored to their budget.
