NW Gardens Alive is a professional landscaping company deeply rooted in the Seattle community. Founded in 2005 by Shawn C. Connor, a third-generation Seattleite and graduate of the University of Washington, our company is driven by a passion for creating sustainable and beautiful outdoor spaces. Shawn's educational background combines a B.S. in Forest Resources with a major in Environmental Horticulture and Urban Forestry, and a minor in Landscape Architectural Studies. This expertise, coupled with over 25 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial landscaping, allows him to approach each project with a comprehensive understanding of both design aesthetics and ecological principles.
