Founded in 2011 by Shere Hanlon, Green Escapes Gardening LLC is built on a passion for gardening that started in high school. With a Bachelor of Science degree and further education in Horticulture and Landscape Design, Shere brings a unique blend of scientific knowledge and practical experience to every project. Her dedication to sustainable practices and customer satisfaction has earned us a reputation for excellence in the industry.

Plant Health Care Practices

Our services focus on Plant Health Care (PHC) techniques, which aim to maintain or improve your landscape using the most cost-effective and environmentally sensitive practices possible. This includes mulching, proper irrigation cycles, and soil management to create a conducive environment for healthy plant growth. By implementing these strategies, we ensure that your garden not only looks beautiful but also remains a haven for local wildlife and beneficial insects.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services including maintenance, consultation, design, and installation. Our maintenance services include weeding, pruning, deadheading, and installing annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees. For clients looking to revamp their outdoor space, our consultation services involve discussing your needs, accessing the site, and making recommendations. We also offer design services, which include a client interview, site assessment, and a hand-rendered plan for your garden. Installation services are available for those who choose to implement the design themselves or hire out.

Labor Rates

Our labor rates vary depending on the service. For maintenance, we charge $60 per hour per gardener. For installation projects, the rate increases to $70 per hour per gardener. Consultation services typically take 1-2 hours and are priced at $300. Design services start at $1,000.

Green Escapes Gardening LLC carries liability insurance and workers comp to ensure that you have peace of mind when working with us. Copies of these documents are available upon request.
